If you are on the PRO version, you can add different 3D models for different variations
Each variation contains four additional fields:
- 3D model (wordpress file upload)
- 3D model url (link for external source)
- 3D model variant (variant inside the parent 3D model)
- Viewer nodes (different annotations for given model)
Important! You have to make a decision if you want your variations to be separate 3D model files, or a single file with variations.
If you want more information about this topic, make sure to read this post.
Next, you need to make a decision if you want to host 3D models within WordPress or elsewhere.
Because these decisions will impact the way you manage your variation fields.
If you choose to use a single 3D model with variations, you only need to fill out “3D model variant” field.
If you choose to upload separate 3D models in WordPress, you can use the “3D model” field. For external sources you need to use the “3D model url” field.
This might be a tedious task to all fill out.
So if you need to bulk manage your variations and models, make sure to check out WP sheet editor plugin.
