In this post we will show you how to add a 3D product viewer to your website pages with Visody.
Before we start, make sure the Visody plugin is installed and activated.
Create 3D viewer
Head over to Visody -> 3D viewers, and click ‘New 3D viewer’.
You have the option to either upload the 3D model into WordPress, or use the 3D model URL field to link to an external source.
Instead of the default loader bar, you can choose to replace the loader with an image (or gif).
You can also choose the Viewer frame ratio. This is the ratio in which the viewer will appear (16:9 for example)
Finally, publish your 3D viewer.
Add 3D viewer to a page
Let’s go back to the 3D viewers admin table:
In this table you will find a shortcode column. You can use this shortcode to display the 3D viewer on any post or page.
Simply copy and paste the shortcode on the desired page, and the 3D viewer should appear.
If you are using Elementor or a page builder, you can use the default Shortcode block.
Save the page and your 3D viewer should appear.
Next steps
If you want to customize the 3D model display, you can choose to set a viewer template. This viewer template allows you to control the camera settings and more.
